Introducing our new winemaking team

We are delighted to welcome a new winemaking team to Montecalvi. Our new cantina manager is Elena Renault. We have been lucky enough to prise Elena away from Querciabella where she worked closely with Manfred Ing. She is a graduate of the University of Florence with a degree in viticulture and oenology and brings fresh new ideas and energy to the cantina. She is supported by Stefano Chioccioli, the renowned agronomist and oenologist who has been providing winemaking consulting services in Tuscany (and the world over) for more than 40 years. In fact, this is something of a return home for Stefano as he advised on the planting of the Montecalvi Alto vineyard way back in 1990. We are very pleased to have them both at Montecalvi.
