We received Slow Wine’s “Top Wine” rating for our 2019 Chianti Classico. We cannot say how proud we are to be recognized by this guide. (Incidentally, Greve in Chianti is a “slow town.” What better place to enjoy our “slow wine”?)

Appreciation for our Chianti Classico Riserva 2019
Live tasting with Jamie Goode
“There is the most beautiful black cherry and then plum with a touch of raspberry and then some dried herbs. Maybe even a hint of blood and iodine, sort of a salty touch, but the overall impression is of a nice sweet, aromatic fruit. In the mouth, it has a lovely texture, a rounded mid-palate, a sweetness of fruit, an appropriate structure with some dry, dusty tannins on the finish, but these do not interfere with the lovely wave of sweet fruit that runs through the mid-palate. A really serious wine. I think it has a lot of dimension and, as a Chianti Classico, is more elegant.”
