V (Vermentino) – IGT Toscana / 2022

The Montecalvi V was introduced in 2018, our first white wine. Since we do not grow our own white grapes, we carefully selected both the variety, Vermentino, and the local grower to ensure quality and character. We pick the fruit by hand and all of the vinification takes place at Montecalvi. Fermented in stainless steel and with about 6 months on French oak, in second/ third use 500l tonneaux. Fresh, vibrant, citrus tones and aromatics, with a lovely smooth texture and finish.

We make just the 4,000 bottles per year.
