The Cellar

The Cellar

With our 4 hectares of vineyards, we aim for absolute quality, respecting the characteristics of the grapes that grow on the right bank of the Greve river.

The wines we produce are the result of painstaking work in the vineyard and precision and expertise in the cellar. In our cellar, craftsmanship, combined with the passion and expertise of our winemaker, leave a distinctive impression on our wines.

Our Team

Our cellar manager is Elena Renault, who brought new ideas and energy to the winery when she joined us.
She is supported by Stefano Chioccioli, the renowned agronomist and oenologist who has been providing consultancy services in Tuscany (and around the world) for over 40 years.

Laura Vegni is in charge of all of our bottling, labelling and shipping– if you place an order it is Laura who sends it to you.

Yahya El Harchaoui is our vineyard manager. He is ably assisted by Marco Nicastro, who is also in charge our gardens at Montecalvi (including our vegetable garden) and, most importantly, the olive trees.

Marco Pierucci (Agronominvigna) is our viticulture consultant (i.e. the man who looks after the vineyards). We also have Marco Tessari as our guru pruner.

Our Wines

Our wines have very little added and nothing taken away. Winemaking pared down to a minimum. The same is true of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is made simply by crushing olives and extracting the juice. Nothing else is required – no chemicals, no additives, no refining.
